Here is a card submitted for an SCS sketch challenge. The DP is retired SU as is the Baja Breeze CS - these are both from 2009. The chocolate chip cs is current as is the stamp set "D" is for Dog. I find this to be a nice masculine card.
Here is a card I submitted for a SCS color challenge and sketch challenge. The color challenge was to use Bermuda Bay, So Saffron and Basic Gray. I used basic gray DP and the So Saffron DP is from the DP pack Tea Party. I used the Dots Embossing Folder from the mini catalog and the sizzlits leaf on this card. The flower is constructed of 10 scallop punches folded in 1/4's and then assembled.
Same color challenge. The stamp set is SU level III Wings of Friendship set. I used SU markers to get different colors on the image. The bird needed a bit more definition so I created a dotted background with the Basic Black SU Marker.
This is a card that we will be doing at my monthly SU get together. The paper is SU Cottage Wall, Chocolate Chip CS, Very Vanilla CS and retired Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon. The image is an SU level III set Kind & Caring Thoughts. The cut out is the Scallop Border Frame die. I used the black magic technique. Stamped the image in white craft ink, quick dry with a heat tool and used SU watercolor pencils to color images.
